Wondering what is NE India like?
– NorthEast India comprises of eight states – Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Sikkim, and Tripura. It is unlike any other part of India that we may have visited.
– The Himalayas and its waters define the region’s terrain, climate, and rich biodiversity,
– It is characterized by indigenous communities and their lifestyles.
– Northeastern part of India is bound by Bhutan, Nepal, and Tibet to the north, Bangladesh to the south and west, and Myanmar to the east and this hints at the eclectic mix of cultural, ethnic, and linguistic diversity.
