Worried how to communicate when traveling in NE India?
– People in many parts of this region speak Hindi and/or English. So your should not have a problem in asking for directions or seeking help when in India’s northeast.
– Northeastern states of India have many languages and dialects. So, be prepared to hear something new every few kms.
– As a traveler, venturing into remote areas of NE India, it is recommended for you to oick up a few locals words and phrases to break the ice. And smile a lot!
